hongdaeHongdae Free Market is usually held on every Saturday throughout March – November every year (closed on rainy days though) which the selling booths are set up like a flea-market-style. Although it says “Free” Market, but, it doesn’t meant that the items are free.

Here, young & creative artists, which are mostly University students, handmade their products and put it up for sale, sometime you may see some of them making the items at their booth as well. After a hot day wandering about at the Free Market, I bet your tummy is starting to get hungry and feeling thirsthy. Not to worry, there are many shops & restaurants beside the playground! As for us, we chose something not too full to fill our stomach. After many days of authentic Korean food, we decided to go for something else, so, here we are, Isaac Toast & Coffee!

I am not much difference like others, as when I see “bacon” I just have to try it. Therefore, my lunch of the day was: Bacon toast! Price range from 2,000 ~ 2,500 won for a toast, it is definitely worth trying & eating!

The main ingredient – Bacon, is very well cooked & blended well with cheese, eggs (cooked with sweet corns) & some salad in the middle. Mouth watering sweet aroma of the egg and fresh salads makes it really flavorful, last but not least, the cheese, which gives a touch of savory taste to the bacon itself.tomatillo

Really wanted to thank my friend for introducing Isaac Toast to us. It is rather less heard of among tourists, so it is not a surprise if you have not heard of it either. Recommended for you to try if you are looking for a cheap, delicious & tummy filling food.
