[FT Managerial Staff] Academic Coordinator for Junior Literature Program

 

Junior Literature: The 100 Classics program offers a motivating studying method through reading, writing, and discussion. This is an English educational program for elementary, middle school, and high school students, (grades 2~9) to develop cultural refinement, critical thinking, and creative thinking skills.

 

[Job Description]

·         Oversee and manage daily operation of class, academic matters, and events

·         Communicate actively with teachers and staff in regards to students, classroom matters, etc.

·         Update class schedule on a monthly basis and allocate teachers

·         Teach 1-2 classes a week (3-3.5 hours /class, usually on Saturdays)

·         Plan, develop, implement, and maintain standards of quality control across the board for all programs

·         Collaborate with staff in the research and development, revision and preparation of master schedules, logistics for program launch and operations

·         Draft and send well-written email notifications and official announcements to instructors on company’s behalf

 

[Basic Qualifications]

·         Must be bilingual in English and Korean

·         Prior experience in teaching younger students (over 2 years) is a must.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Proactive, positive mindset and ability to work in a multi-cultural work environment

·         Must possess excellent follow-through and problem solving abilities

·         Discipline for details and strong organization skills

 

[Locations/Schedule]

·         Seoul, Apgujeong

·         Work five days a week

·         Further details of class schedule, size, etc., will be discussed during the interview

·         Start Date: ASAP (January / February 2018)

 

[Salary]

·          Will be discussed during the interview (negotiable)

·         Different benefit package will be applied for staff position

[Minimum Requirements for any of our positions]
